Completed his MBBS from Madurai Medical College in 1973 batch. After that he pursued D.Ortho in Madurai Medical college and M.S Ortho from Kilpauk Medical College. He Served in the areas of Chettinad for more than 30 years & has done more than 10,000 + surgeries and done 500 + congenital talipes equinovarus (CTEV).

He was awarded as the Best Doctor in the year 2014.
